It would be great if production presets remembered hours as input

I have a cpl features that you might want to add. I have not messed with the configure features (to turn on/off, select colors, etc).

I have a quoter for the boards, an automatic link maker for those lazy posters who don't format links, a prod commander cap adjustment for production page, a profit/loss total for battle reports.

Not sure if you're interested in them, but be glad to share them with you. The script is very nice, and code looks tight. My stuff has been scraped for here and there and customized as needed

Production Times for Structures when they finish Date & time? are they still here or am just missing them?

Anonymous said...

Excellent upgrade, I can't wait to get to use it! Only thing is, it seems to affect the colors of AE to make them bleaker...

Also, it'd be nice to remove linked research bases from the statistics page for free accounts, but that's just a small thing...

very goood system, any chance you can add 24 hrs button top mass production screen?

Anonymous said...

I've a few Suggestions you may incorporate if you wanna.

allinone production page:
1) Add programmable preset buttons like you have in the individual astro's production page.
2) Allow build by time on the same page. have it calculate finishing time taking into account existing production queues. eg - base1 has 2 hours of fighters building, base2 has nothing. you give the allinone production page an order to build for 4 hours on both bases .. and the script then builds 2hours on base1 and 4hours on base2, so the total production over all bases ends at the ordered 4hour mark.

It would make the mod even beter if there was a option to show build levels in the structure page aswell as in the structure overview. something like 12/15 so the current level would be 12 and the goal would be 15.

I would like a "print" button on certain pages that would put the info on the page into a easier to print format.

Less than 2 hours [color]
Less than 5 hours [color]
Less than 12 hours [color]

Less than 48 hours [color]
More than 48 hours [color]"

Hi i have just started to use your script and its very handy and good. I was wondering how easy it would be to add on fleet/movement a little script where you can set up a cord i.e your JG base and press 1 button next to it which would auto send all your spare fleet on your bases apart from dreds to the JG you put in. This would save time going through your bases 1 by 1 moving it. Just a thought.

I like the change to the UNITS page.

How about in the settings adding a field for base defense FT.

eg, I have 19 bases and I want 10,000 FT for base defense. This 190,000 FT is then subtracted from the Empty Hanger Space to give a true Empty Hanger Space.

after this last update i lost the button to hide the my guild information

thanks for the hard work bye

Outsource Justified Design said...

-- base defensive fleets will be added, just not finished yet. Defensive fleets will be hidden from all pages unless you show them. This way calculations, such as the units page mentioned above will be accurate and it will be easier to move 'All' fleet without the need to drop defenses.

-- Hide 'My Guild' is no longer needed as AE removes them from the page so the button was useless and was removed.

Would it be possible to display per-X efficiencies on the construction page? Ie, Urban Structures and OBases would have a little factoid showing the cost per fertility; Shipyards, OSYs, Factories showing cost per prod; Power Plants showing cost per power. It's not exactly the hardest thing to figure out with a calculator, but it'd be nice to have a quick reference

Anonymous said...

On empire page - every second base does not have a notes link...

Unknown said...

Under: Time Helper - Enter time you want to arrive at a location to be informed of the right time to leave.

Would help out alot if you could display arrival time in local time instead of server time. For instance, I know I'll be online tonight around 8pm my time and I want my fleet to arrive at target at that time - so tell me when I should launch according to my local time.

Thanks - great program!

I love the fact that I can colorize certain enemy guilds, but...all guilds outside of pacts/alliances are enemy, are they not? My suggestion is to simply change the color of the enemy text to red. White is boring...or at least have the option to do that (although, programmatically, I am certain optionalizing it would be more difficult).

I'm not sure if this is intentional, but scaling everything to the size of the browser window misaligns the system tables if the browser window is too wide. Cosmetically, this looks kind of odd, and I can't seem to find a fix for 1080p.

Outsource Justified Design said...

If you look in the settings, you can adjust the page margins or set the width to a specific amount.

Anonymous said...

Hey great and FAST fix to (what I think) was a major bug! Thanks so much!!! for fixing the system view page.

Anonymous said...

All = Row thing doesn't work. I can't get it to let me select a row.

Anonymous said...

Units page is still misaligned, don't think it's anything hard to fix

Outsource Justified Design said...

All = Row problem and Units page misalignment I can not duplicate these problems.

Do you have any other scripts running?
What Firefox/Greasemonkey versions?

Anonymous said...

Should be able to load old version if you don t like new one

Anonymous said...

Two issues I have encountered...

#1. When viewing Star Systems, I cannot see planets. They do appear, just prior to the script kicking in, and then they disappear.

#2: No "Fleet Summary" link available when only one fleet is at the astro.

The Hide Full Trades option is broken again. When I click it, it hides all the full trades except the top one. And when I copy it and paste it, it still posts all of them, even the ones that are full.

It'd be better to just get rid of that option considering the AE one works all the time.

3.6.4 Firefox
0.8.20100408.6 Greasemonkey

And I have no other scripts running.

How do you get the scanner row lighting to highlight only people landing near or on your base that arent in your guild?

Anonymous said...

Guild yyyy fleet info is incorrect. Incoming fleet size is >0. (Today) number is correct. Landed is incorrect and most should be on the incoming line.

Fleet Summary
Guild Incoming (Today) Landed Total Fleet Size
[xxxx] 0 (0) 906,805 906,805 Hide
[yyyy] 0 (3,454,885) 159,814,595 159,814,595 Hide

On the AE Tools options page - General Tab.

Under "System Override Colors". Two things. The radio buttons should be to the left of the option (as we all read left to right, it would make logical sense for the radios to be on that side). No big deal.

The more important thing to note under the same section is the "Main Border Style". It doesn't seem to work...I set it to ridge, say, and then click the "Return to Astro Empires" button, and the borders have not changed. Upon returning to the options page via the AE Tools link, I find the "Main Border Style" reset to double.

Re: the post on July 7, 2010 9:56 AM

The problem seems to have "fixed" itself... I didn't change any settings.

Anonymous said...

Another idea...
Add an "as many as possible" button (divide credits in hand by cost of unit; perhaps a / for the button text?) on the production page!

would be very cool to have battle calc compute results on a pre-attack page view. Like the AE Extras does.

Anonymous said...

this is a nice script but u cant downgrade turrets or structures

Anonymous said...

Border changes are not applying

Anonymous said...

Is there any problem with fleet scanner? Yesterday was working just fine but today it simply vanished!

Anonymous said...

Ah, I am not the onlyone who noticed... Too bad I hope it can be restored it was the best option in this tool!

Anonymous said...

I have the "Hide Full Trades" link selected on the trades page. When I have open routes, it correctly shows the open routes, but also shows one astro which has all routes filled up. It will tell me I have 3 inactive routes (one per astro) - so it should only show three astros - but it shows four instead. Check it out - it is kind of messed! LOL

Anonymous said...

Man that system scouter was great, can it be fixed?

Anonymous said...

um...the timers on empire pages are now messed up....

Anonymous said...

AETools just stop working! What can i do to run it again?

Anonymous said...

Timers are BROKEN!!!!

Anonymous said...

Not showing the time in hours/min remaining in a count down of prod/const/res on any page, just the end time/date

Anonymous said...

Curious as to when a fix will be made since AE has messed with things again? As of now none of my tools are working.

Anonymous said...

Fix the timers, please! I love this script!

Anonymous said...

ant fix in the works for the countdown timers?

Anonymous said...

Hi, I received a fine for using a script. Not sure if it was this one or AE Extras BJ.

Did anyone else receive a warning if not, I blame Extras...

Anonymous said...

Are we going to see a fix for the timers, or what???

Anonymous said...

ok! i have found a way to get animated timers back...
first, goto "account" then "display" and remove the checks from "Display animated server time", "Display animated local time", and "Display end times of events (in local time)". Then, under enhanced timers in the AET settings page, I have the first two checked, and the last four unchecked. hopefully this works for you peeps as well.

Peace

Anonymous said...

Confirming that the above fix worked for me!

Data said...

oh good! I am glad it works for someone

Data said...

Oh! I have been using this script for a long time now. No fine has been imposed. I would also suspect AE Extras. AET is far better anyways.

Interface addition suggestion:

Put a left and right arrow next to the "Base Selection" drop down on pages like the empire page. Put each arrow on either side of the drop down. Sometimes I want to just review my bases.

So it looks like this:

Just got fined two days income. I think it was from the "Redirect to Empire on Submit" in the production page.

It's amazing that you steal someone elses work. Try to collect off of it. Then post on another person's website trying to take business away from him about it. Get a life and write your own software. Oh yeah I guess you couldn't. That's why you had to steal it. :)

Anonymous said...

the construction pages are broken in the base screen due to the change in the AE code.

You can no longer queue to the right column of what you want to build... you have to use the default scroll.
